Hello!
You may wonder, what on earth is Sociotrip? But then there's this word "trip" and you start to guess. t's an abbreviation for Sociology Trip.
Before we get started, I want to explain some stuffs. In the high school of Indonesia, the subjects we're going to study is separated into 2 opinions: Science or Social. What differentiate both...let's call it majors, lol...is that science consists of biology, physics, and chemistry. Meanwhile, social consists of sociology, geography, and economy. You can easily guess which major I took. But for the rest of the subjects, such as civics and math, are compulsories subjects for both majors.
Anyway, we want to a few places in Yogyakarta, the city where I live! We partially learned the lifestyle of the people there and history, but mostly we had fun.
Starting from the very first destination:
1. Dusun Kasuran

Or in English, Kasuran Village. The village is divided into 2 parts: The South and the North. There's an unique story behind this village which is the people never sleep on the bed. (Which is if it was me, my backbone would protest against all odds.) Why, you may ask.
There's an urban legend behind this unique custom. For more than 600 years ago, lived this man named Sunan Kalijaga. He was a missionary of Islamic culture. On one of his mission, it required him to stay on this village. He did a preach and introduced the people about Islam. But apparently there was someone who discreetly had a resentment feeling toward the Sunan, named Sonsondalu. He didn't like that Sunan spread his doctrine to the people on the village until one night he went to the shaman's place and put a curse on the bed that Sunan Kalijaga slept in.
So when Sunan laid his body on the bed, he suddenly felt dizzy and his entire body became sore. At the morning, Sunan had already known that there was someone who wanted to harm him. But he didn't intend to do such a revenge, This action of Sunan made Sonsondalu flabbergasted. He confessed his dirty behavior then embraced Islam as his religion.
Before the Sunan left the village, he left a message to Mr. dejali, who kindly had offered him a place to stay, to take care of the bed but never use it. Apparently, there had been a miscommunication between Sunan's message and his understanding. He ordered the people in the village to never use the bed anymore of the curse will come to harm again. People on the village obeyed. And this tradition has passed through generation to generation until now.
THE MYSTERY IS if we use the bed on Dusun Kasuran, there would be an unfortunate event happens to us. There's this one experience from one of the residents that she lost all her 3 sons when she tried to lay them on the bed. All of them passed away after having severe health condition.
We can believe it, we can not. :)
2. Candi Ratu Boko

Or Ratu Boko Temple in English. The scenery is real beautiful. Although the temple is not as whole and as mighty as Borobudur Temple or Prambanan Temple, this one is not disappointing. It's just the track which is so long and I was exhausted and the stairs OH HOLY GOD stairs should be banned from this country.

The front view or the gate.

3. KRAKAL, INDRAYANTI, AND SEPANJANG BEACHES
THESE ONES WERE PURE BLISS AND I CHERISHED EVERY MOMENT OF IT.

The sand is white but because it was getting darker + I edited it, this is how it turned out.

SO GUYS.
I guess that's all my aesthetic post for today IF THE PICTURES ARE EVEN AESTHETIC
